Samenvatting

The results of frontal collision test with belted cadavers simulated on a deceleration sled at collision velocities of 30 km/h, 40 km/h and 50 km/h are reported. The shoulder belt forces increased according to the body mass, and there is an increase of the number of rib fractures by increasing age.
