Results of the enquiry in regard to the separation of public from private transport.

An enquiry is made in different countries to the present position in regard to horizontal and vertical separation, of public from private transport. An experience with special traffic lanes for motorbuses and tramways and the place and significance of railways in urban centres is discussed.
