Samenvatting
Reflective properties of bands of various types of retroreflective material have been measured, in new as well as in used condition. Wearing the band around the ankle appeared to provide a better visibility than wearing it around the upper arm. The main conclusion is that at less favourable observation conditions the waffle reflexite ..band, even when new, provides a considerably smaller visibility distance than is wanted for reasons of safety.
