Digital road images have many applications for the management of road networks. With the rapid advancements in technology and the wide range of applications of digital images currently available, it is useful to create a set of standard specifications for the collection of digital images. This report reviews some of the current practices of road authorities and provides recommendations for the development of standard specifications. (Author/publisher)
