Samenvatting
Traffic regulations outside built-up areas were only a rare occurrence ten years ago. During recent years however traffic regulations have been much more widely applied. Together with the development of the recommendations for junctions and the category-index of highways (as shown in previous papers) the author considers (1) the criteria which will be important if the regulations come into force; (2) the requirements which a traffic regulation has to fulfil; and (3) the geometrical design of junction and the location of the traffic lanterns.
