Samenvatting
This report deals with (preliminary) specifications for the design of non-motorways. Attention is paid to: (1) a categorization for roads outside built-up areas; (2) driving behaviour and road design; (3) traffic data and prognosis; (4) traffic operation on road stretches, exclusive of junctions and other limiting conditions; (5) "design vehicles" and pedestrians; and (6) traffic safety.
