This publication (first published in 1951) presents detailed statistics of road casualties in Great Britain. Tables are provided showing statisticson vehicle population, accidents and accident rates classified (e.g. by road class, type of vehicle, time of day and severity of accident) for 1997-2007. Detailed tables for 2007 consider general matters, accidents, casualties and the drivers and vehicles involved. A table of international comparisons on road deaths and another table on passenger casualty rates by mode are provided.
