Samenvatting
This review focuses on the criteria a lighting system should satisfy with regard to road safety issues and then lists the light source technologies that meet the needs of different situations. Important factors to consider when choosing technologies are the visual needs (whether peripheral vision is important), colour rendering, light efficacy and lifetime of the system. (Author/publisher)
