Samenvatting
The report deals with horizontal road markings, raised pavement markers (studs) and lateral delineators. It evaluates their main characteristics and the various factors as well as criteria to be taken into account. The economic aspects involved are discussed and guidelines for the selection of the most suitable marking techniques are proposed. Finally, present trends with regard to new developments in this area are highlighted.
