Samenvatting
Summary; Two "on-vehicle" road pricing meters have been described which meet the requirements laid down by the UK Ministry of Transport. The present designs use non-critical low-cost discrete components in their circuitry and would be suitable for economic production in quantities of a few thousand for evaluation and system trials. When the final operational requirements have been established most of the circuits could be rearranged into single integrated packages suitable for large-scale production.
