Samenvatting
A detailed description is given of the profilometer system developed in Texas for high-speed road profile measuring. Special attention is paid to the data processing, the analog-to-digital conversion, the systems analysis, the sensitivity and the verification of the information on mechanical and electronical aberrations. Further investigations are being carried out, e.g. with modifications in the sensing wheel and the wheel characteristics.
