Samenvatting
Some accident figures for Japan are presented mainly in respect of the years 1965 and 1966. Statistics are analysed to show distribution of accidents according to type of vehicle involved and the type of road. The importance of understanding accident causes is emphasized and some general methods of accident prevention are discussed.
