Road safety and research activities in a number of countries.

As part of the preparation of the conference: Evaluation 1985, a detailed questionnaire was sent to eight countries, with the aim of collecting information relevant to traffic safety programs and their evaluation. The survey identified for each country the organization responsible for safety activities and their functional interactions. All countries were unanimous on the need for more research.
