This compendium lists all recently completed, ongoing and new projects carried out by the Road Safety Division. The research areas covered by the compendium include safety of vulnerable road users (children, pedestrians and cyclists); driver and rider behaviour (young and novice drivers, driver training and testing); impairment (drink, drugs and fatigue); road engineering and speed management; statistical analysis, accident causation and policy monitoring; medical aspects of fitness to drive; and demonstration projects.
