Samenvatting
The maintenance and rehabilitation of appropriate standards of the road conditions is an essential factor to be considered to reach lower costs in road transportation. The Brazilian Ministry of Transports has developed and is now utilizing pavement management techniques so that rational decisions may be adopted as to the attribution of the maintenance, rehabilitation and expansion priorities of the road network.
