Samenvatting
During the past 10 to 15 years the development of urban traffic in the GDR has above all been characterized by housing construction and by the increase in individual motorization. Considerable efforts have been made to promote the public passenger traffic and furthermore to guarantee a qualitatively sufficient public transport service.
