Samenvatting
The report reviews the topics of research carried out in Italy; traffic restrictions for city centres and mass transport improvements were adopted. Larger cooperation is needed among public sectors administering urban roads, for planning, constructing and managing new roads and parkings in urban areas with the support of an adequate allocation of funds, in the general interest of society. Research studies and diffusion of technical innovations must continue.
