Samenvatting
The passby- noise of a single vehicle as well as the noise of a traffic flow is the complex result of many interacting components including the engine, road surface, tyres, vehicle speed, etc. In order to achieve a quantitative and qualitative reduction of traffic noise, the rank ordering of these components is therefore essential. These components influencing the generation of traffic noise at the higher speeds are investigated in detail.
