An analytical modeling technique to simulate possible rollover vaulting of heavy vehicles impacting traffic railings is presented. Such behaviour is always possible with heavy vehicles because of their relatively high center of gravity, and the simulation model presented is intended to provide estimates of this type behaviour for single-unit vehicles.
