Green waves can be useful instrument for an easy traffic flow. Green waves are not a disadvantage for public transport. Combination of green waves with priority for public transport is possible. Green waves have a favourable ifnluence on the use of energy, air pollution, noise hindrance, journey time, traffic safety and the wear of surface textures.
