Samenvatting
The traffic flow on the road network is mainly determined by the capacity of the junction. Nowadays there is a trend to modify the junctions into roundabouts new style. This report considers the following specific points of interest (1)in which situation is a roundabout wanted as a junction (2) how should be the layout of the roundabout (3) which priority rule is the most useful and (4) are roundabouts as safe as is often stated.
