Samenvatting
In the report Rotondes II (B 29052) a review is given of the available knowledge, obtained from the literature and analysis of accident data, of safety on roundabouts. Four studies were recommended for further research primary aimed at safety on roundabouts and secondary on problems of capacity. Special attention was required for the safety of cyclists and moped riders. Three of these four studies are elaborated here (1) comparative studies (2) before and after studies and (3) position of and priority rules for cyclists.
