Samenvatting
This paper adresses the Pennsylvania Department of Trans-portation's efforts to develop rumway truck countermeasureprograms and facilities. A system has been developed toallocate Pennsylvania's limited highway funding to themest serious problem areas. A summary of Pennsylvania'struck accident experience and a brief analysis of the dri-ver-roadway-vehicle interaction is given.
