Samenvatting
This paper examines issues in the modelling or rural transportation. In particular it examines the influence of the nature of the farm upon trip generation;the difficulties of defining trips in a rural situation; and the appropriate form of model to address these issues. Trip making by a sample of farms in Rodney County is then analysed and used to develop a trip generation model.
