Samenvatting
In a German city an exemplary analysis of the following factors was carried out: school districts, geometric design characteristics, traffic conditions, traffic volumes, speeds, speeding, vehicular gaps, and length of signal phases, observation of 3300 pupils at 65 intersections, interviews with 1500 parents. Results of the analysis and recommendations are presented.
