Samenvatting
The objective of this project was to investigate the feasibility of performing motorcycle safety helmet compliance tests to the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and Regulations (FMVSS) No. 218 for motorcycle helmets, with three sizes of test headforms (A,B, and D) in addition the size C headform currently in use. An analysis of results and recommendations concerning the adequacy of the A,D and D headforms for FMVSS 218 compliance testing is given. For appendices see B 15624.
