Samenvatting
Training has become almost an axiomatic park of accident prevention strategies, but it is questionable whether the level of analysis and the development of training programmes is sufficiently high to produce the return expected. This paper reviews the safety training provided in the U.K. and illustrates the mismatch between the requirements of effective training and the provision given.
