Samenvatting

In this chapter, the author focuses on the role of modelling software tools as a help for the experiment designer to ease and improve the complexity of several aspects of the simulation scenario, and the possibility of extending this approach to the experiment protocol itself. It seems that the quest for `ecological realism' is important in some kind of experiments and it is only approachable through an increment of complexity in the database. The balance between the cost of this increment and the benefits obtained is a matter that only further experience can evaluate properly.
