Samenvatting
A study is made of the experience by road users of six selected noise screens in the Netherlands. The purpose of the study was two fold (1) to get an insight what the road user thinks of the different kinds of noise screens and (2) in how far the starting points of the designer are experienced as such by the road user. The appraisal of the noise barriers, except one, was mostly negative.
