Samenvatting
In 1971 the Rhineland Vehicle Testing Establishement published safety analyses for cars and these have been repeated annually with the participation of all vehicles testing establishements. The analysis given for commercial vehicles, which is the first of its kind, is based on the results of periodic technical supervision. For each weight class and vehicle age class the average frequency of defects was determined and compared with these of the vehicle types investigated.
