Samenvatting
Until recently, science and democracy were widely believed to support one another. But in recent years, the values of science and democracy have increasingly appeared to conflict, especially in their application to public choices. The author advocates a new discipline of "policy analysis" which overlaps existing disciplines and joint degree programmes between "policy analysis" and professional training, including law, medicine- and engineering.
