Samenvatting
The paper describes a security framework for interoperable Electronic Fee Collection (EFC) systems now being implemented in Norway (Autopass). The new standards and the extended use of EFC cause new security challenges to be met. The framework described in this paper is a flexible and secure way of fulfilling the crucial requirements enabling EFC systems to be interoperable with each other.
