Samenvatting
This article presents a video platform, IMVDS, developed by the US company Dynamic Technology Systems (DTS) to address the need for incorporating intelligent transport systems (ITS) technology with security applications of video surveillance. Transport management centres and emergency management centres often work together, and the two specific DTS products ITMS and VidShield are able to communicate using mixed protocols. Valuable information can be used by emergency services in responding to an incident. The systems can be integrated with other video elements and other electronic programs on a common interface.
