Samenvatting
The research presented at the 7th REAAA Conference in Singapore in June 1992, showed that lighting yields a twofold result. From a human viewpoint, it cuts road fatalities. Economically speaking, it considerably reduces the direct annual loss due to road accidents. The article also discusses sodium and metal halide/mercury lighting.
