Samenvatting
The problem of visibility and marking of trucks at the side is dealt with. In the first part of the study the current existing luminance situation in the streets by night is investigated. In the second part the visibility of 15 examples of sidemarkings is examined. Results show that different types of marking need very different values of luminance for optimum visibility.
