Samenvatting
Since November 1, 1979 the use of a red reflector on the rear of a bicycle and reflectors in the pedals of the bicycle are mandatory in the Netherlands. In this report the use of retroreflective material on the side of the bicycle (e.g. on the tyres) is discussed to increase the perception of bicycles at twilight and darkness.
