Samenvatting
A blower-system was installed at the test track of Daimler Benz which can develop air draughts of 9 to the Beaufort scale, a width of 35 m, and a height of more than 2 m, in order to carry out side-wind tests in relation to the effects of the roadway conditions. Various side-wind tests on motor vehicles, carried out in simulated weather conditions are described.
