A statistical summary concerning Florida's fatal bicycle accidents by a comparison of fatal bicycle accidents in the years 1981 and 1985 is provided. The study was undertaken to give information on the existing factors which contribute to or cause fatal accidents. Children below the age of 15 are the most often involved in the type B fatal accidents: they fail to obey a sign or signal at an intersection.
