Seminar on technology transfer and diffusion for Central and East European countries, organised by the OECD Road Transport Research Programme in co-operation with the Hungarian Ministry of Transport, Telecommunication and Water Management

This theme of this conference is the exchange of technical knowledge and experience between Western Europe or America and the Eastern block countries. Papers are presented on: a) World Bank experience of providing funding for technology transfer; and b) the role of standardisation in technology transfer. The experiences of individual countries are also documented with papers from various East European Countries, Austria, Germany, the USA, France, the United Kingdom, Norway, Finland and Japan.
