Samenvatting

In the literature the effect of non-randomness in randomization by humans has been attributed to limitations of both memory and attention. A crucial factor in this context concerns the effect of task duration which strangely enough, has never been investigated. The present research shows that non-randomness decreases with time spent at the task. This appears to be due to increasing monotony of the task, rather than to task duration only.
