The study evaluates whether inventions involving competition and rewards would enhance a school-based educational curriculum on tobacco use. Written pre and post test were used to assess the relevant knowledge of over 1000 students. Students smoking beliefs, intention and behaviour were assessed by questionnaires analyses of the results suggested that students did not differ on smoking behaviour after the competition.
