From 13 to 14th of May 1982 a conference was organized by the study group "Traffic control and traffic safety". 14 papers were read. The topics could be divided in three main groups: Improvement of Traffic Safety, Optimal use of capacities and resources in traffic control and energy saving and Management of maintenance and operation ( for instance road marking and lighting)
