About 4% of all working people are truck drivers. Trucks are involved in about 26% of all accidents on the road though they only take part in all traffic for about 10%. The safety devices in the cabine are of great importance. Some of the proposals are discussed: possibility of seat belts use, the shaping of the cabine and the behaviour of the trailer in cases of accidents.
