Samenvatting
The problem of calculating optimum fixed-time signal programs is divided into two parts. First a design problem has to be solved in determining the signal program structure which is given by the stage sequence chosen. Secondly an optimisation problem has to be solved in calculating the cycle time and the green time for each signal group. The constraints for these problems are derived by means of elements of graph theory.
