Samenvatting
This report describes the outcome of a research project aimed at developing a framework for the process of classifying substandard horizontal curves on rural roads into different danger categories and, after implementation of the project, the associated basic signing and marking concept. The project is part of the SAFESTAR (Safety Standards for Road Design and Redesign) project, which belongs to the 1994-1998 European Research Programme TRANSPORT, within the Fourth Framework Programme.
