Samenvatting

The few road networks examined by most studies are insufficient to evaluate the interdependence of projects. The number of road networks examined can be increased by using a simplified traffic assignment procedure. The multi-path capacity restrained program assigns traffic to freeway links and homogeneous travel zones of surface streets. The assumptions in the method are discussed, the results are compared with full link assignments and improvements to the method are suggested.
