Samenvatting
The purpose of the study was to develop a simulation model of a homogeneous, steady state traffic flow on a one-way carriageway with two lanes. The motorway was dealt with. The vehicle types used in the model were lorries and passenger cars. The model has been translated into a computer program. Computer runs were made and some results of the simulation model were compared with the analytically calculated results. The total number of vehicles used in each computer run were 10,000.
