Samenvatting
With the purpose of investigating the possible use of enclosures on heavy vehicle tyres to reduce tyre noise emission, the influence on noise of three different clearance heights between the enclosures and the road have been tested, as well as the effect of enclosing only the rear wheels. Results indicate that enclosures can give useful noise reduction.
