Samenvatting
Three methods of skid prediction are mathematically presented and their merits and demerits studied. It is shown that the prediction point slip depends on the speed of the wheel at the beginning of the brake cycle, the rate of application of the brake torque, the condition which is employed for the purpose of prediction, and threshold value of the parameter that is used in formulating the condition for prediction.
