A skid simulator for use in driver training and research. Paper prepared for presentation at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the Highway Research Board HRB, Washington, D.C., January 25, 1973.

The simulator being developed will provide a laboratory model of a skidding automobile in which the driver can experience the visual inputs and the yaw motions, thereby learning how to use brake pedal, accelerator, and steering wheel to control his vehicle when placed in a potential skidding situation.
